God's own country: Kerala

Coconut Trees spread over
Wanderer's Kerala: Simply put, the land infuses tradition. And then, there is the outstanding physical beauty, which mere adjectives wouldn't do justice to. The land of 44 rivers, innumerable lakes and 1,500 kms of ‘backwaters’, the land sings to the traveler’s heart: the voluptuous green of the lush Kerala foliage, the rich red of the fecund earth, the brilliant blue of the life-giving waters, Kerala is a must visit for the first time traveler and the seasoned one.
Must Visit Season:
Temple Festival or Pooram in February where the land transforms into a riot of colors. You are welcomed by a sight of mountains of bananas, hillocks of paddy, yards of jasmine, rows of glinting glass bangles, shimmery satin ribbons in rainbow hues, trinkets and toys. The beat of the drums. The stamp of feet. The festival beckons your soul.
Onam in September: A ten festival celebrated with pomp and joie de vivre, the festival embodies the rich culture, tradition and grandeur of Kerala. Don't miss the mouthwatering Onasadhya, where 20 -25 dishes are served no a single banana leaf. The famous boat race is held during this season.
