Long after Marco Polo stumbled onto its palm-fringed shores, which he proclaimed as, the Jade pendant in the Indian Ocean, the land, with an unparalleled beauty – the song of the flowing river, famed beaches, crescent-shaped coves of white sand framed by colorful bungalows and bamboo groves captures every visitors attention.
Would I be doing justice if I called it a land of ‘just about everything’ – because, there’s romance, poetry, wildlife, the thrills, the spiritual tranquility and a chance to rediscover oneself.
