Day 1: Masai Mara National G.R
Arrive Jomo Kenyatta Airport and transfer to the Wilson airport for morning scheduled flight to Masai Mara National Reserve, offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game.
This National Reserve is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance such as existed a century ago.
Famous for the annual migration of around 1.5 million wildebeest, the Masai Mara is also home to many other animals including Lions, Buffaloes, Leopard, Cheetah, Elephants and other plain’s game. It covers some 1530 square km and is bounded by the Serengeti Park to the south, the Siria escarpment to the west and Maasai pastoral ranches to the north, east and west. The terrain of the reserve is primarily open savannah grassland with seasonal riverlets.
On arrival you are met and transferred to your camp. Governors’ camp is the iconic safari camp of East Africa and the first permanent camp to be set up in the Mara Triangle in a prime location close to the Musiara swamp and overlooking the Mara River. Afternoon after lunch, set out on a game drive until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara.

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and has the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere! The vast, flat central plains, made fertile by the ashes of the volcanoes of the Ngorongoro highlands, are places of huge skies, of shimmering heat hazes, yet also of delicate wild flowers blooming after the rains. This is where you will experience your first game drive of the safari in the afternoon.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Lake Manyara
After breakfast at the camp, transfer to the local airstrip for your scheduled flight to Manyara. On arrival you will be met by a driver guide and driven to the Lake Manyara National Park.
Stretching for 50km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. It is one of the few parks which is as much rich in flora as fauna. It is densely forested with big trees and presents a different picture to the eyes of the traveller. Home to more elephants per sq. Km. than any other park in Africa, baboons and Vervet monkeys, this national park is more famous for its tree sleeping lions. Nowhere else can you spot the lions climb trees with the dexterity of a leopard.
Arrive for a late lunch at your camp. Lemala Manyara is a comfortable seasonal camp offering a stunning, secluded location inside the park on the shores of Lake Manyara. With game and flamingo constantly passing in front of the camp, amazing sunsets and sunrises, sundowners by the lake, bush meals, and with options to do night drives and walks, Lemala Manyara is simply magical.
After lunch, go on a game drive in the Lake Manyara National park until sunset.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara.
Day 8: Lake Manyara
Today spend full day in Manyara with morning and afternoon game drive.
All meals and overnight at Lake Manyara.
Day 9: Lake Manyara - Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After a leisurely breakfast at your camp, drive down to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. The rest of the day at leisure.
Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate seasonal camp set in a delightful ancient acacia forest on the rim of the crater next to the quiet Lemala access route. Ngorongoro Crater Lodge has been called the game lodge at the end of the world. Between the spectacular views swirling through mists around the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge and its somewhat unexpected architecture, it is easy to believe that you have entered a realm of pure fantasy. Steeped in romance, each stilted, handcrafted mud and thatch suite is adorned with graceful antiques.
Guests of Lemala enjoy early and fast access into the crater without having to queue at gates or endure traffic jams. Lemala guests are also usually the first into the crater to capture the glorious morning light on a clear day or they can return as late as 6.00pm as the sun is setting.
Dinner and overnight at the Ngorongoro.
Day 10: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, descend to the crater floor for a half-day tour. Quite possibly the most famous of all Africa’s conservation areas, this is one of the places where you stand a very good chance of seeing the Big 5. The largest intact caldera in the world, its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor.
Often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ’8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries.
Later return to the lodge for late lunch and an evening at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.
Day 11: Ngorongoro – Arusha Airport
After breakfast, depart for Arusha airport for your flight back home.
