This is A La Carte African Tour! This 4 day trip takes you to one of Tanzania's finest national parks and the 8th Natural Wonder of the world. Explore Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ’8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. You also get to visit Lake Manyara National Park, home to not just abundant wildlife and birds but also the famous tree climbing lions!

Day 1: Arusha - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be met and assisted by our representative. Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife who are a permanent resident on the crater floor.

Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon at leisure to explore the crater on your own.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart for half day tour of the crater floor. Often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ’8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries.

After a beautiful descent down the crater rim, passing lush rain forest and thick vegetation, the flora opens to grassy plains throughout the crater floor. The game viewing is truly incredible, and the topography and views of the surrounding Crater Highlands out of this world.

Return for lunch at your lodge. Enjoy afternoon at leisure to explore the crater on your own.

Day 3: Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara

After breakfast, drive down to the Lake Manyara National Park, which apart from its abundant bird and animal life is known for its tree-climbing lions.

Afternoon, after lunch go on a game drive in the Lake Manyara National park until sunset when you check into your lodge.

Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara.

Day 4: Lake Manyara - Arusha

This morning wake up early for a game drive after which you return to your lodge for. Then drive to Arusha. Enroute stop for lunch after which you will be dropped off at Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight back home.
