This is A La Carte African Tour! This 5 day tour takes you through the heart of Tanzania. Drive through 3 of Tanzania's famous national parks, starting with Lake Manyara National Park and ending the tour amidst the beauty of Ngorongoro Crater. Spend 2 nights at Serengeti National Park, Africa's most famous park and home to the "Big 5" game. Visit Ngorongoro Crater, the world's 8th Wonder as it is known. Go on game drives. Relax in the lovely lodges taking in the awesome scenery.

Day 1: Lake Manyara

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be met by our representative and commence safari by driving to Lake Manyara National Park.

Stretching for 50 km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-metre high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. It is one of the few parks which is as much rich in flora as fauna. It is densely forested with big trees and presents a different picture to the eyes of the traveller. Home to more elephants per sq. Km. than any other park in Africa, baboons and Vervet monkeys, this national park is more famous for its tree sleeping lions. Nowhere else can you spot the lions climb trees with the dexterity of a leopard.

Afternoon, after lunch, go on a game drive and try and spot the tree climbing lions.

Return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara.

Day 2: Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the lodge. Drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon after lunch, enjoy a game drive until sunset. 

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at your lodge. Spend the entire day at Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.  Meals and overnight at Serengeti.

Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Breakfast at the lodge. This morning drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor.

En route visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archaeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, go on a half day crater tour.

Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Arusha Airport - Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Arusha for lunch. Later transfer Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight back home.
