This is an Overland Adventure Tour! The awe inspiring Okavango Delta in Botswana, teeming with game and birdlife. The Mokoro rides and nature walks exploring the delta with its awe inspiring visual scenery. Crocodile farms, Khama Rhino sanctuary...and more. Explore and experience the magic of the renowned Chobe National Park with its spectacular wildlife and end the magical tour with the spectacular Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

Day 01: Botswana – Palapye

You depart Johannesburg and head north to cross the border to Botswana. You reach Palapye, located on the banks of Lotsane River, where you spend your first night.

Day 02: Khama Rhino Sanctuary - Maun

The Khama Rhino Sanctuary is a community based wildlife project, established in 1992 to assist in saving the vanishing rhino. You go on a guided game drive in the morning, through the Sanctuary before departing for Maun.  Upon arrival in Maun, You will prepare for the Okavango Delta.

Optional activity: Crocodile farm visit

Day 03 & 04 Okavango Delta

During your time in the Okavango Delta, the world’s largest inland delta, you enjoy the best nature has to offer. You go on nature walks and if possible, explore the Delta by mokoro.  In the morning we board our planes and head into the Delta. After a wonderful scenic flight we arrive at our base for the next two days. Optional activities: If you wish to participate in additional Mokoro rides or nature walks, apart from what is included in the activity package, please speak to your guide.

Day 05: Gweta

You leave the Delta and travel east to Planet Baobab, which is located halfway between Maun and Nata, near the Makgadikgadi Pans. You can explore the bush around the campsite and view some of the oldest Baobab trees in the area.

Day 06: Kasane - Chobe National Park

Today you head north to Kasane, on the banks of the Chobe River. The afternoon is spent game viewing on a river cruise, into the renowned Chobe National Park. This is an excellent opportunity to view some of Africa’s spectacular wildlife.

Day 07: Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls

On arrival in Victoria Falls, you have time to plan the next day’s adventure activities before visiting the spectacular Victoria Falls and experiencing the thundering of the mighty Zambezi as it drops over 100m in to the gorge below.

Optional Activities: Chobe National Park Early Morning Game Drive, Zambezi Sunset Cruise

Day 08: Victoria Falls

Your tour officially ends after breakfast.

Note: Although the tour ends post breakfast, many people spend the day White Water Rafting, a not-to-be-missed experience of a lifetime! Victoria Falls offers many exciting activities.

Optional Activities: White water rafting, Flight over the falls, Full day low/high water river boarding, sunset cruise, bungee jump (solo), morning/afternoon lion or elephant encounter

Visas - Indian nationals will need a Double Entry South African and Botswana visas Arrival : You will need to arrive one day before your tour is due to depart. This will avoid any unpredictable problems Departure: Your departure from Victoria Falls will need to be one day after the tour officially ends. This is to account for any delays that the tour may experience due to unpredictable circumstances Pre and Post tour accommodation can be arranged by us.
